School Uniform
The following uniform must be worn by all pupils when coming to, or attending school for any purpose, unless otherwise informed. School Blazers may be removed during practical classes but must be worn at all times when moving in corridors, during breaktime, lunchtime and when leaving school.
- Black Blazer with School Badge (Compulsory)
- Black Trousers
- White School Shirt
- School Tie
- Dark Socks
- Plain Black Shoes (Trainers, heavy boots and metal trims are NOT acceptable)
- Black Waterproof Coat with school badge (Highly Recommended)
- Prefect's tie and scarf
- 6th Form tie
Towel for showers/swimming, Swimming trunks, White Shorts, Black & Maroon Football Shirt, Black Football Socks, Optional Hooded Top, Training shoes, Football boots, Shin guards, Black Tracksuit (available in school) or plain black sweat bottoms.

- Mid-Grey Skirt - Years 8 to 12 (longer length kick-pleat must run from the knee)
- White School Blouse
- School Tie
- Black opaque tights
- Black Shoes (High platform soles, high heels and trainers are NOT acceptable)
- Black Waterproof Coat with school badge (Highly Recommended)
- Prefect's tie and scarf
- 6th Form tie, black opaque tights, charcoal-grey skirt (longer length)
Towel for showers/swimming, Swimsuit, Black Skirt, Black & Maroon Hockey Shirt, Black Hockey Socks, Optional Hooded Top, Training shoes, Tracksuit (available in school) or plain black sweat bottoms, Shin guards, Gum shield.
- Mid-Grey V-neck Pullover (Name flash preferred)
- Regulation School Scarf (Football Club scarves are not acceptable)
For health and safety reasons jewellery is restricted to the wearing of a small stud type earring (worn on the lower lobe), one ring and one watch. We must emphasise that NO other piercing, particularly facial will be allowed.
Pupils must avoid extremes of fashion in hairstyles. Boys should not have shaved heads, tramlines, tails or hair below the collar. Hair should be neat and not tinted or dyed to extremes.
Girls should not wear excess make-up.
