School Council Leg Wax
On Tuesday 19th October the School Council ran an event in the Assembly Hall. Jackie and Elaine, two qualified beauticians, came to wax five boys' legs - Robbie Purdy, Craig Greene, Fabrice Wallace, David Thompson and Ryan McFall. After these boys had struggled not to cry out with the pain, Mr Young volunteered to get his done. Each person who came to watch bought a ticket which cost £1. Nearly £200 was collected - this will be donated to the charity Kids Alive, to help them build a playground.
