The team started very strong with Kathy Reid doing a lot of the work in midfield pushing the ball up to the forwards, Julie McIlmoyle and Hannah McCleister.

The defence were superb all working together to clear the ball. Parkhall had a few shots at goal but Goal keeper Bethany Brown prevented any goals being scored. The first half ended 0-0.

The second half started with the wind and the rain in their faces. The girls kept focused and Julie McIlmoyle made a break down the wing only to be stopped in the opposing circle.

Parkhall finally got a goal with 7 minutes left and another goal with 3 minutes to full time.

The girls played very well considering this was their first match and they had eight Year 8 pupils on their team!
