A-Level Biology Field Trip
On the 7th April, the A-Level Biology class headed off to Magilligan field centre as part of their course. The day started off on Benone Beach where a line transect was carried out across the dune, heading inland to the forest. Throughout this activity the pupils had an opportunity to use many sampling devices, including quadrats, pitfall traps, sweep nets and pooters. It was a really enjoyable day, even more so because it was a beautiful day.
